How To Get a Great Discount On An Engagement Ring
Shopping for an engagement ring can be very stressful to say the least. You are probably thinking "how much should I spend on an engagement ring" "am I getting ripped off" "will she like the ring I choose" "am I going to be broke after this purchase" "how do I know I am buying a good diamond" etc etc...
In this article I am going to try and give you some guidance on what to look for to ensure that you get a great discount on an engagement ring.
First things first, Do not go to your local high end Jeweler.
Why?
Because these guys over inflate the prices of their diamonds like you won't believe. Secondly you want to do some research and get educated on diamonds first. Did you know that it is better to sacrifice on the size of the diamond in order to get a diamond that is better quality?
The third thing you want to do is find a wholesale jeweler that offers high quality diamonds, the diamonds must be GIA Certified in order for you to know that your diamond is of great quality and it will keep it's value because of this certificate from the Gemological Institute of America.
You also want the opportunity to design your own engagement rings. What I mean by this is that you want to be able to choose the perfect diamond based on the 4 C's which stands for Cut, Clarity, Color and Carat. Then you want to choose the perfect setting for that diamond and have the Jeweler set it for you.
There are many benefits to this method. You get a custom engagement ring at a huge discount because you are buying wholesale. You also get a high quality diamond which won't lose it's sparkle and brilliance. The diamond comes with a certificate which makes it more valuable.
There you have it. If you would like to learn how I saved $1500.00 on an engagement ring by doing it this way you can visit my website by clicking here. Don't worry it's all free information.
Good luck,

Everything You Need to Know About Diamond Carat
If you're searching for an engagement or wedding ring and don't know the first thing about diamond carat, you've come to the right place.
Simply stated, diamond carat is a measure of the diamond's weight. This does not necessarily reflect the size of the diamond you are buying, however.
The reason for this is that when you view a diamond, it is generally from the top view (in the setting). This can be a little misleading. The best way to measure a ring is to measure the distance across the top of the diamond.
Another factor when considering diamond carat is the grade of the diamond. Once again, a diamond can look misleading due to a poor cut. If a diamond is not properly cut, you can lose light coming out of the top of the diamond. This could make a diamond that is actually large in weight (or carat) actually appear smaller. You want a well cut diamond so that the most light possible is emitted from the top of the diamond, making it look large.
One other thing to consider when picking out the carat of your diamond is the size of the finger the ring will be on. A smaller finger will obviously make a ring look bigger, and vice versa.
While there are other things to consider when picking out the carat of your diamond, these 3 guidelines should help you get started. See a reputable jeweler if you have any other questions to make sure you get the best diamond possible, for the most competitive price.
